Work history

Pharmacy volunteer

Chelsfield pharmacy
Chelsfield, Bromley
07.2024 - 08.2024

I had the amazing opportunity to volunteer in a pharmacy. During work experience I was able to help maintain a clean and organised pharmacy environment for optimal workflow as well as aiding in packaging and labelling prescribed medications correctly. Furthermore I provided information about over-the-counter medicines and facilitated timely delivery of medicines by coordinating with delivery personnel's. These skills that I acquired are transferrable to any positions that I may work in the future.

Assembly Worker

My sixthform
Orpington, Kent
10.2023 - 10.2023

I was given the amazing opportunity to speak in front of my class and younger year groups in assembly, to commemorate black history month in October. By doing this I have learnt key skills in communicating as well as improve my public speaking skills.

Volunteer

St Christophers Shop
Orpington, Kent
09.2022 - 02.2023

In secondary school, I took part in Duke of Edinburgh ( Dofe )which required me to do 100 hours ( 6 months ) of volunteering which I completed in a charity shop. During my work experience, I learnt how to communicate with a wide variety of people as I was able to communicate with people who were in different age groups and backgrounds than me as they all required my help or assistance.

School Library Assistant

my secondary school
Chislehurst, Kent
03.2022 - 01.2023

During secondary school, I had work experience in my library. During my work experience, I was given the opportunity to help many people , ranging from assisting my teacher with cleaning and organising the library after break and lunch, to assisting students with finding books they are interested in. As well as that I had to complete paperwork and helped order books for my school online. My work experience taught me how to be more confident and to think more critically as I had to prevent and mitigate various problems.
