• Prepares operating theatre by assembling sterile instruments, equipment and supplies to ensure readiness for surgery.
• Strictly adheres to WHO Safety checklist.
• Maintain sterile field, anticipate surgical team's needs, manage instruments and surgical counts, and promote patient safety throughout procedure.
• Manage specimens and instruments, assist with patient transfer, and prepare theatre for the next procedures.
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols to minimize risk of contamination and surgical site infections.
