Summary

With over eight years experience as a qualified teacher in London, working in academies, local community schools and as a supply teacher I have experience as a subject, curriculum and assessment leader.

Whilst completing my NQT year I furthered my interest in leadership by gaining a Masters Degree in Leadership in Management. As a keen researcher and educational development specialist I also worked with the British Council, traveling to Jordan to work Palestinian Refugee schools and developing their work on the UN sustainable development goals.

Further to this, I have served as an Instructional Teaching and Learning lead Whilst studying for a PhD in Professional Education with a focus on developing teachers perceptions and understanding of assessment.

As a final year PhD student set to complete in August 2025, I am seeking a permanent position where I can continue to be challenged academically, professionally and to utilise my PhD to support my school and community.
