Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and develop Line Reports, ensuring effective performance and ongoing professional growth.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedural flowcharts and commercial limits of authority.
- Conduct performance reviews, identify training requirements and participate in recruitment for the managed team.
Operational Management
- Oversee Ship to Ship and consultancy operations in line with company procedures and Industry Guidelines.
- Maintain operational safety, efficiency and cost control, driving continuous improvements across systems, equipment and processes.
- Support key projects from feasibility through to start up and ongoing management.
- Manage subcontractor sourcing, negotiation and oversight to ensure compliance and high service standards.
- Approve operational job costing, sales values and draft invoices, monitoring profitability.
- Ensure appropriate equipment levels for each base and contribute to annual equipment budgeting.
- Support new base setups from business case development to operational launch.
- Maintain operational licences and ensure contractor adherence to required policies and procedures.
Client, Commercial and Contract Management
- Liaise with clients and legal advisors for contract negotiations.
- Produce SLAs and negotiate costing schedules with base partners in collaboration with Regional Directors.
- Oversee quote templates and standard terms, managing and mitigating company risk.
- Maintain accurate client records within the company CRM.
Business Development and Marketing
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, seeking opportunities to expand the client base.
- Attend and present at client meetings, industry events and social functions in the UK and abroad.
- Support the Business Development Team in delivering company strategy and developing marketing materials, website content and campaigns.
Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety (QEH&S)
- Comply with all company safety and environmental requirements, reporting unsafe acts, conditions or concerns.
- Contribute to QEH&S initiatives, meetings and drills, recommending improvements to performance.
- Demonstrate management commitment by promoting QEH&S awareness in daily activities.
- Manage owned and delegated company procedures in accordance with change control processes.
