I am a 16 year old seeking out a job for throughout summer and beyond. I previously participated in work experience and volunteer work last year at Lingwood Care Farm where I have gained skills in communication, carrying out instructions, organisation and overall respect. Working with disabled individuals allowed me to be more caring, and learn how to communicate with different people, I think this is particularly helpful as this is needed to deliver good customer service. I work well in a team environment and I am able to keep calm under pressure, as shown in my volunteer work, I am also a very understanding individual, respecting everyone and adapting to certain needs. I have also had experience as a teaching assistant and completed The 11UP program set up for around 200-400 pupils by the Cambridge University. I am flexible and ready to help.
Supported teachers by assisting with various tasks throughout work experience.
Ensured pupil safety during sporting activities and maintained suitable environments for lessons.
Enhanced communication skills through interactions with pupils and enforcement of rules.
Beyond work experience, throughout my Acle Academy education, I assisted teachers multiple times, with open days, fundraisers, transition days and events. This allowed me to develop my organisation skills further and lend a helping hand, working with younger children and ensuring their comfort in an unfamiliar environment.
I completed a customer service online course, and the Cambridge University 11UP programme.
I was a senior prefect and deputy head of the charity service area, as well as being part of the prom committee and being placed onto an 'aspire nine' programme for the top 18 students in my year group to help us achieve top grades at my previous education.
