Hobbies and Interests

One of my greatest passions outside of academia is promoting physical well-being, especially through my regular gym visits. This pursuit enhances my physical health and positively impacts my mental state, boosting my confidence and fostering personal growth. I also cherish my weekend morning runs with my five-year-old daughter, which strengthen our bond and allow us to discuss the importance of mental and physical self-care. I aim to instill values of hard work and resilience in her, showing that a positive future comes from consistent effort. Additionally, I have a deep appreciation for literature, which enriches my understanding of the human experience and sharpens my analytical skills. Engaging with literature helps me navigate complexities with greater awareness and sensitivity toward others.

Volunteer Experience

Legal Clinic, Portsmouth University, Volunteer, Portsmouth, Through my experience with the Legal Clinic at Level 4, I was allowed to observe sessions with clients and more experienced students, particularly those at Level 6, as well as qualified solicitors. This experience was instrumental in teaching me how to navigate real-world cases and how to apply theoretical concepts in a practical setting. I also enjoyed my role in meeting and greeting clients, ensuring that the Level 6 students and solicitors were prepared and ready for the consultations. This enhanced my organisational skills and my ability to create a welcoming environment for clients, which I perceive to be essential in a legal context.
