Hello,
I am a 22 year old race technician with over a decade of experience. Starting from age 12 with working on my own race cars and winning championships over the years including being UK champion. My professional career starting at age 16 with the drive and competition already embedded in me to strive for improvement in the workshop and at the track. I'm hoping to keep improving, with new challenges and further my experience, knowledge and build on my passion for motorsport.
Chief technician and Engineer on 13 Single seater F3000's, at Palmer sport.
My role is to is to build from chassis to track ready and everything in-between. From building the gearboxes and reading live data, to engineering new set ups for the vehicles to keep improving track times. And running the cars day to day.
Always striving for improvement in how the cars cater for the divers and how to withstand the harsh environments from driving over 5 seasons worth of racing in a year.
My time at Woolmer Classic Engineering consisted of Building and maintaining historical race cars from the 1950-60s. From Austin Healy's to TVR's and many more.
Transporting and running these vehicles at race events such as Goodwood Revival and Silverstone Classic as well as our championship rounds across the country.
Preparing Vehicles also consisted of geometry set up rebuilding final drive systems, rebuilding dampers and checking the performance on the damper dyno.
I had the responsibility of managing the rolling road, this is where all vehicles would have the engine tuned in preparation for race events to achieve optimum performance while still being within safe parameters for reliability.
At LANAN racing my main responsibilities was preparing our GB3 race cars.
This included helping with setup changes, changing gear ratios to suit different circuits, general rebuilding of components such as drive shafts, uprights, steering racks and more including chassis changes at circuit.
I accompanied the race car to race events to support trackside. As much as possible at the time due to Covid-19.
At UPE Motorsport I was No1 Technician on Caterham's. Mainly the 310R class.
Here I built and maintained several Caterham's for the championship we competed in.
Id prepare the vehicles at the workshop and supporting at events across the UK and Europe. Even competing in endurance racing.
I would also carry out geo setups and rebuilds at base.
