Work history

Little Wickets
01.2025 - 09.2025
  • When I joined Little wickets, I spent time learning behind a lead coach on how to plan and coach sessions appropriately. This helped me to plan and deliver engaging sessions. These sessions focus on keeping kids engaged and having fun whilst also learning and developing skills alongside the learning of basic and fundamental of cricket. I work with children ranging from ages 2-7. This has helped me to learn different techniques when coaching and adapt to the needs of the children when needed. This includes bringing backup plans if sessions don’t go to plan or other issues that may arise such as fire drills. This shows my adaptability when faced with adversity. I’ve also work as a lead and co-lead with other coaches which demonstrates how I work well in a team environment and work together with other coaches as well as independently.

Sunderland Golf Centre
06.2022 - 01.2025
  • During school holidays I have worked at Sunderland Golf Centre, I helped with administrative tasks such as assisting with inventory management, processing customer payments, and helped maintain records for scheduling and billing. These were vital things to keep on top of records including the total number of balls sold every day. Another key task was Facility Maintenance. This would include managing the upkeep of the driving range area, ensuring that tee boxes, balls, and equipment were clean and in good working condition. Also attracting new members was key to help build the company further and promote the centre. I would also answer the phone, reply to emails, and help with the filing away of essential documents.

Barista

Moores Nurseries and cafe
01.2024 - 10.2024
  • I joined Moores to help develop my customer service skills while still working regularly at the cottage. This shows my hard-working nature and good commitment to work. I served on tables, made drinks for customers and took orders and payments at the service counter. I volunteered for extra shifts in the Garden Centre which meant that I worked on the tills, learned about the key features of a garden centre and helped customers find what they needed. I again created great relationships with colleagues and managers throughout my time working and really enjoyed the time I spent working there.

Front of house worker

Cottage Hotel
Nottingham
10.2022 - 09.2024
  • I started off working as a Kitchen porter. After impresses the managers I was then trained to become a member of the front of house team. This enabled me to develop good customer service skills and challenged me to make good decisions in pressured situations to meet customer’s needs. This helped me to unlock skills which will help me in your place of work. I enjoyed my time working at the Cottage hotel as it helped me experience part time work whilst studying at College and helped me to meet new people and make lots of good relationships with colleagues.
