In year 10 I had an amazing opportunity to do work experience at a prestigious accountancy firm, where I had the opportunity to learn some of the basics like debits and credits and balancing sheets using Excel. I also had the opportunity to use software like DEX. This was where I knew I had a passion for finance and enjoyed the problem solving and communication in the job.
