CHARLIE HITCHCOCK

Walton-on-Thames,surrey

Summary

Classically trained chef with over ten years' experience spanning Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hospitality, recipe development and food consultancy.

Having trained in some of London's most respected kitchens, including The Glass House (1 Michelin Star) , Roux at Parliament Square and Le Gavroche , I have built a cooking style that combines classical French technique with modern British cuisine, always allowing exceptional seasonal ingredients to take centre stage.

As Opening Head Chef at Wild Restaurant , I have led the kitchen from launch, creating the opening menus, establishing supplier relationships, building and developing the brigade, and helping shape the restaurant's culinary identity. Since opening, Wild has received praise from respected food critics, including William Sitwell , for its ingredient-led approach and commitment to seasonal British produce.

Alongside my restaurant career, I have worked with Posh Nosh Food Consultancy , developing bespoke recipes, menus and food concepts for hospitality businesses and private clients. This experience has strengthened my creativity, commercial awareness and ability to adapt my cooking to individual tastes, dietary requirements and different styles of dining.

I am now looking to bring this experience into a private household where I can build long-term relationships with clients, creating thoughtful, seasonal food tailored to their lifestyle—whether that's elegant dinner parties, relaxed family meals or refined tasting menus.
