I have been employed at a coffee shop within a local government setting for over two years Here I undertake a multitude of activities to aid the successful running of the business. Duties vary from barista duties, cashing up, cleaning, chef duties, ordering and customer service. This role has increased my confidence, and I feel competent in many skill areas of consumer-based roles. My personal attributes that I bring to a role are diligence, hardworking, fast learning, and adaptability. Since 2021 I have been working with Morfe Valley Arboriculture supporting the business in both arb work and horticulture work. I am competent in using various tools such as strimmer’s and have gained a vast amount of knowledge in both trees and landscaping. I particularly enjoy this role as it is so varied and great to be part of a team. In November 2024 I gained employment with Wolverhampton City Council hosting at the Darts event held at Aldersley Stadium. This was an amazing opportunity to gain additional customer service skills and quick thinking was often required

I look after the water gangs within Severn Trent, taking out any fittings, pipe, Heras fencing, and barriers that they may need. I also go out on jobs after the gangs and collect barriers, grass seed, and put top soil on jobs as needed.
