Electrical apprentice

Bowers & Barr Ltd
Great Yarmouth
2024.01 - 2024.09
  • In this job I gained huge amount of independence and responsibility with working on my own. A big part of this included PAT / FAT and multifunctional testing within domestic, commercial and industrial locations (single phase / three phase), alongside completing electrical installation certificates for each job. One of the biggest strengths I have gained whilst in this job are with my people skills and maintaining a good level of customer service whilst completing a job with satisfaction. Additionally, I have attended many commercial jobs which have included pulling in and supplying large sub main cables and fitting three phase equipment. I have finished attending college regularly during this time at JTL and I am now working with my college assessor to build my NVQ 3 level portfolio to gain access to my AM2 assessment.

Electrical apprentice

Lowestoft Electrical Company Ltd
Lowestoft
2020.07 - 2023.12
  • In this job I began my electrical apprenticeship. In my time with this company, I gained major experience in first and second fixings in both commercial and domestic settings, with some experience in testing too. I worked very efficiently as a lot of my work was completed on a price scale, mostly with new builds, which allowed me to complete jobs to a good standard in a shorter period of time. I also attended JTL Training College in Norwich which entailed working to complete both the theory and practical side of my apprenticeship.
