I’m a friendly, reliable and hard-working Year 11 student at Walbottle Academy, currently completing my GCSEs alongside BTEC Sport & Fitness and Construction.
I enjoy meeting new people, learning new skills and getting stuck into new challenges. I work well as part of a team, but I’m also happy working independently and taking responsibility for getting things done.
I’m now looking for a part-time job where I can gain experience, work hard, meet new people and become part of a team.
Football has been a big part of my life and has helped me develop strong teamwork, communication, commitment and confidence.
I have played for and been involved with several clubs and programmes, including Throckley Magpies, Westerhope United, West Denton, Blue Star, Newcastle United Foundation and Futsal.
Through the Newcastle United Foundation, I represented the team at a tournament at St George’s Park, which was a fantastic and memorable experience. I was also selected to represent England in the National Youth Futsal Cup, giving me the opportunity to compete at a high level and play alongside new teammates.
Playing for different teams has taught me how to communicate with others, listen to coaches, take on feedback, work towards a common goal and support the people around me. It has also helped me become confident meeting new people and adapting to different teams and environments.
In summer 2026, I travelled independently to Spain to take part in a football summer programme.
The programme included daily football alongside educational activities and sightseeing. Being away from home helped me develop my confidence and independence and gave me experience of managing everyday responsibilities, including:
