Experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a proven track record in both self-employment and long-term roles at reputable companies. Demonstrated expertise in air conditioning systems, mechanical maintenance, and on-site coordination. Adept at leading teams, managing projects, and ensuring high standards of safety and quality. Skilled in customer service, diagnosis and fault finding, and the use of mechanical hand and power tools. Committed to continuous learning and professional development. Seeking opportunities to leverage extensive experience in a dynamic environment.
During this time I was able to continuously stay in work subcontracting to the same company. Completing numerous jobs varied from split systems to VRV/VRF systems also including a number of duct-work jobs. Also in my time whilst being self employed, as well as installing different types of jobs such as Liverpool passport office, student accommodation and hospitals based in the north west, I was also running these sort of jobs which I think really highlights my skill sets of team work and man management.
However, I am looking for a more stable employment as I now have a young child and would like to be certain that my role as being self employed can not always guarantee that.
After my time at my previous employer, I had the suitable skills and experience to be able to go self employed for a year alongside a family member who had recently set up his own air conditioning business. For 17 months, we took on a lot of work from many professional clients and always completed the job at a very high standard within a timely manner and always received positive feedback. Unfortunately, my role came to an end as my employer had taken up the opportunity to move to Australia and carry out the same works.
Since leaving high school I was employed at Platinum Air Conditioning. I started off as an apprentice learning the trade, eventually attending college to achieve my level 2 in air conditioning and refrigeration. Once I completed my course, I had the training and skills to work confidently and competently as an individual engineer completing jobs on my own. I also had the responsibility of leading teams of six or seven other engineers on jobs which meant I learnt a range of team management skills and earned the trust of my colleagues and employer. Unfortunately, my time at this company came to an end when the company went into administration.
