I began working at M-sport at the beginning of the Rally 1 Homologation period in November 2021. Shortly after starting I began attending WRC events and pre event tests. This gave me a considerable amount of experience working in fast paced high pressure environments such as timed services where good teamwork is of the upmost importance.

My job role quickly developed as my experience increased and eventually led to me taking on a number 1 role at the end of 2024.

My Primary role for the company is now to prepare and maintain the Rally 1 Test car, leading a team of Mechanics on Pre event tests all over the world. This also includes working closely with drivers and engineers, trialling development parts and training Junior Technicians.

Alongside this I continue to work as a Number 1 Mechanic on WRC events, managing a team of mechanics to ensure the cars reliability and performance throughout the Rally.

I continued my career as a technician at Ian Cranston's garage in Skipton. Ian was passionate about his mechanic's having good Workshop cleanliness and exceptional customer service, which in turn allowed for a high quality of work and quick turnarounds. I stayed here until I moved to M-Sport.

I trained as an apprentice here after I left school learning all aspects of light vehicle repair, alongside carrying out vehicle recoveries and assisting in general day to day running of a workshop, customer care etc.
