I am very confident that many of the skills I have acquired over many years will be very relevant to the position of process operator. I'm healthy, very rarely ill and have a very friendly nature which enables me to work well with colleagues.
I joined the DWP just prior to Covid breaking out in March 2020. The first benefit I was assigned to was Universal credit. The job role involved taking incoming calls and assisting people financially in what was a very worrying time for millions of people. I now currently work with retirement services ensuring customers are receiving their correct awards.
This job role involved procuring contacts for the sales force and entailed extensive travel and working away from home.
I worked for the sub contractor who had the concreting contract for the upgrading of Barton water treatment works. My duties involved labouring as part of a gang and also the more skilled finishing which sometimes involved 24 hour shifts
