This role is a part of an exciting project for Purina which I am very fortunate to be involved with. My varied role includes:


  • Client communication, consultation and follow up.
  • Sales to consumers and driving conversion rates within nutrition.
  • Training and development. Creating and presenting training material for future additions to the team.
  • Cross departmental co-ordination. I work alongside US teams to help integrate current software to be used within the project.
  • Project reporting and analysis. Recording and tracking my conversion rate and providing feedback to the team regarding specific pilots and individual cohorts.
  • Problem solving and adaptability within the team and externally with clients.
  • Collaborating with veterinary staff and clients to integrate diets into clinical care.
  • Being involved with multiple processes relevant to the project, including using CRM email systems, liaising with external business services, helping to conduct client research and attending relevant workshops.

  • Performing customer service duties including speaking to customers via phone and email about nutritional enquiries.
  • Managing Pet's Kitchens own veterinary practice social media. I also created an instagram account based around client education (#vetknowhow).
  • Collaborating with an external social agency to help create content, assist with photo/ video shoots and content creation.
  • Running in-house feeding trials for new diets and collating information.
  • Managing company donations to both charities and individuals- sorting out delivery and organising posts for social media.
  • Organising events (including Crufts) on a tight timeline and budget.
  • Attending national shows, speaking to current and potential customers to educate on the benefits of good nutrition and raise brand awareness.
  • Contributing to NPD discussions.
  • Helping run promotions through social media, created promo codes and worked with external design companies to come up with appropriate promotional material.
  • Writing educational blogs and uploading them to the website.
  • Using a ticket based system to log bugs with the website with an external IT company.
  • Dealing with complaints- including refunds, product replacement and lodging investigations with our external manufacturing company when required.
  • Participating in weekly meetings to give updates on social and promotion progress, complaints, any ongoing investigations and any other relevant information.

Additional Information

Raised in rural New Zealand, I've always had a huge appreciation for the great outdoors, which is reflected in my hobbies- running, hiking and snowboarding. I have two amazing Tibetan terriers and share a cute piebald pony, all of whom demand a lot of time and attention! Travel is my other huge love, I get away for an adventure whenever I have the chance.
