As well as a patient based environment I have a lot of skills and education when it comes to strategy, I work equally as well in a team as I do alone. I am immaculately presented with a lot of confidence which has helped me learn and adapt to new settings.

  • Although I thoroughly enjoyed taking bloods at the hospital I found that a quieter setting for both me and my patients were better.
  • Which is why I now find myself working at a Doctor Surgery.
  • The role for this job is the same as the hospital but my daily routine has obviously changed.
  • Still ensuring patients are taken care of to the best of my ability.

  • This job role was a big clinical change for me as I was taking blood samples from patients which are examined in the labs to diagnose diseases and conditions.
  • The procedure that I perform is very temperamental and takes a lot of skill.
  • Over time my performance when taking blood has become very successful.

  • Another temporary position I enrolled in over this summer was working at Kingsholm Rugby stadium.
  • Working on the bars during the rugby games.
  • It was important to keep the bar stocked up at all times.
  • Also handling money, greeting the customers whilst getting the rush over half time.
  • This job helped me to manage my timing well and enabled me to multitask very well when getting the rush of customers during the rush of half time.

  • When I was 16, I had the opportunity to be an artist Liaison and I was thankfully able to work under artists like RAYE, Tinie Tempah, Annie Mac and much more at a big outdoor festival in Gloucester.
  • In this week of voluntary work, I had an eye-opening experience, and I learnt so much about how much efforts are really gone to pull off massive festivals.
  • I feel as if I work well under pressure as I noticed this is a very temperamental industry and things can go wrong very easily, to be able to solve problems instantly and always maintain on schedule.
  • Working this environment really helped me build relationships with new people and adapt to the different venues, audiences and situations.

  • Also, it was important to keep them on their feet so I would often take them on walks around the hospital and help them exercise their legs as the ward I worked on specialized in broken hips (NOF).
