Innovation and technology involvement:

I have written a business case for the development of OXERA (Oxygen efficient respiratory Aid - approved by SAPRA). I have presented this design to Prof Clutton-Brock at MDTEC who kindly tested the device for us (to the value of 8000 pounds) free of charge. This testing has informed future development of the device and will assist us in our long-term goal of achieving MHRA approval. MHRA approval is globally recognized, and this will facilitate OXERA’s introduction into the standard Oxygen therapy escalation pathway in developing countries where it will be of highest benefit.
