I believe I am hardworking and very much enjoyed my plumbing and electrical course at Lisneal College and hope to progress further as an Electrician in the future. I understand I have limited experience, however, I am eager to learn and take on new challenges. I am a long-standing member of the Student Council, ensuring I share not only my own feelings and hopes for school life but also those of my peers. Upon beginning my final year at school, I was nominated to be a Year 14 Prefect, with the specific role of Wellbeing Ambassador. Within this role I have been responsible for ensuring the School's wellbeing HUB is managed appropriately to allow my fellow students to have a place to relax at times of increased stress. I have also been responsible for developing an After School Programme in conjunction with the charity 'Extern.' This programme supported students to further manage their wellbeing through stress management techniques. I am able to work with a team and confidently share my own ideas, helping with the setting up of school events or working together with the other pupils and teaching staff. I am also a member of REACH Across, a cross community Youth Group, meeting on a weekly basis with a diverse group of young people between the ages of 12 to 18 years of age. I have attended a number of Residential trips in which team building is a key component. I worked alongside REACH to complete The OCN course in Prefect Leadership.
