

I am the award-winning writer of novels, screenplays and short stories. My short stories have appeared in Riptide Journal, Bridge House Anthology and The Ghastling as well as being shortlisted for the prestigious Fish prize. My debut novel 'Salt' won Wales Book Of The Year Award 2021 and I have received a Books Council Advance for my second novel, 'Lace,' which is due to be published in 2023.
I also have many years of experience of working in television, and my credits include Mistresses, Indian Doctor, The Bill, Casualty and Wolfblood. My script 'Moth' ( later produced as 'Gwyfyn') won the Dennis Potter Award, and the produced film won a Bafta Cymru best single drama.
Since 2002 I have been an Associate Lecturer at the University of South Wales and Bath Spa University.
