Supporting a Year 8 ALN Small Group, covering all Subjects.
Specifically Supporting one Pupil 1:1 plus general Classroom Support.
I have been employed here for 4 years, Supporting students in various years, Year 7, 10, Small groups. Supporting students with various needs, ALN and Mainstream. This has also required liaison between teachers and parents, maintaining open lines of communication, being involved in Annual Reviews for students.
Working in Small Classes, Supporting students to achieve in their Learning. Covering various Subjects. Supporting students with Behavioural issues, as well as ADHD and Autism.
I was with this Agency for 6 months. My main role was that of a Teaching Assistant at a Primary School in Cheltenham. I was based in the Year 2 Class, and I carried out many of the tasks and duties required of a Teaching Assistant. My role included working with small groups in a variety of subjects. Also managing the pupils behaviour in the classroom, any records or paperwork and communicating with both staff and parents
I have worked in a variety of organisations, supporting Adults and Children. I have experience with Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Global Delay, Down Syndrome. I have supported these clients with everyday life/ personal care, various activities and attending school.
This Company had two areas, Looked after Children and Supported Living for Adults. I was part of the Bank Team, so I worked in all of their 5 houses. Again I worked with Autism and Learning Difficulties as well as Looked After Children who may have experienced Neglect, Abuse and difficult backgrounds. General Support Worked tasks day to day in the house, activities, challenging behaviours, family contact and daily paperwork.

4 Years Experience at this School. Oner of my roles was to Support 1:1 Year 7 Pupil with Autism. This included in the classroom, communication with parents and teachers. Assisstance with Homework and Homework Communication Book. I worked with SEN students, I also supported Pupils Year 7-10 generally in the classroom covering a variety of Subjects and Levels. I have also worked with small groups outside the classroom, and provided extra reading experience at the begining of the day. At Lunch time I provided cover for the Isolation Area. Experience of SEN pupils, Autsim, Attachement Disorder, Looked After Children and Challenging Behaviour.
I started at Heywood School as providing Lunch Cover to support a Year 7 Pupil 1:1 with Challenging Behaviour. This progressed to a Part time Role as a Teaching Assisstant supporting pupils Year 7-10. General teaching Assisstant support in class, again in a variety of subjects and Levels.
I worked at St Johns whilst completing my Level 2 qualification. I supported pupils in Reception and Year 2.
