Currently working within the Digital department within the University Dental Hospital. Providing a service to BDS undergraduates, postgraduates students and staff. Daily activities include:

• Recieving of intra oral scans from trios and primescan scanners, processing scans into printed or digital models using exo cad model creator, meshmixer, formlabs and kulzer printers.
• Digital wax ups using Exocad.
• Digital designing inlays, onlays, crowns, veneers and bridges using Exocad software.
• Processing zirconia, wax, PMMA and Emax digital designs using coritech milling machines and Formlab printers.
• Mentoring junior staff and offering advice and support to other department staff.
• Maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Stock control.

Worked within the prosthetic department fabricating wax tryins, bite blocks and thermoformed appliances. Currently working within the digital department designing crown and bridge work using exocad software.

Worked within the Prosthetic & Maxillofacial department within the University Dental Hospital. Providing a service to BDS Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Senior House officers, Clinicians and Community clinics. Daily activities include:

• Casting dental impressions and duplicate models.
• Construction of registration rims, special trays, copy dentures.
• Setting/waxing up dentures, finishing/ processing acrylic microwavable dentures.
• Reline/repairs/clip repairs and additions of dentures.
• Construction of vacuum formed prosthesis including mouth-guards, bleaching trays, soft/ hard splints, bite raising appliances and anti snoring devices.
• Construction of cobalt chromium denture frameworks via CAD/CAM (using free form geomagic software) and traditional casting techniques.
• Construction of Removable Implant Dentures using Nobel Biocare system alongside clip replacement and repairs.
• Planning & manufacture of Mandibular reconstruction cut guides, plates, crainoplasties, orbital floor plates and 3D printed models using FreeForm magic, Slicer software and formlabs printers.
• General admin work such as booking in out work on computer system and allocating work between technicians.
• Mentoring work experience students and junior staff and offering advice and support to other department staff and dental students.
• Maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Stock control.

Working on a part time/ as needed basis at the University, providing support and mentoring to Undergraduate BSc Dental Technology Students within their practical sessions.

• Providing academic support to undergraduate students and senior lecturing staff within practical teaching sessions.
• Providing practical demonstrations to undergraduate students.
• Assessing students' work according to given marking schemes.
• Giving feedback to students to help them in their learning.

Founder and co-owner of The Pouring Shed. We create handmade soy candles, melts, diffusers and hand washes/lotions. All our products and eco-friendly and recyclable/reusable.

Regulary attend craft/artisan fairs to engage with target audience. This involves chatting to/approaching the general public and selling products. We took part in a pop-up in John Lewis, Cardiff in November 2022 where we sold our products to people entering the store. We are also featured on notonthehighstreet.com.

We manage various suppliers that supply our goods to make the products. There is also an element of stock control. General budget management and forecasting/tax returns etc.

Regular editing and maintenance of own website to add new products, add new photography and process orders. Regular posting on social media channels to keep audience engaged, build following and attract new customers.

Working in a commercial prosthetic laboratory, which provided a service to both NHS and Private dental practices.
