I worked as part of a highly successful MFL team achieving consistently high GCSE and A level results. The school was recently judged "Outstanding in all areas" by OFSTED and our department was deep dived.

  • Prepared and delivered the MFL curriculum in line with the departmental SOW. Taught French to KS3 and KS4 and Spanish to KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • Planned engaging and motivating lessons aimed at stretching and challenging pupils.
  • Used a variety of resources including online materials, textbooks and mini whiteboards tailored to individual pupil needs whilst adhering to the three pillars of grammar, phonics and vocabulary.
  • Created many resources for A level Spanish keeping materials up to date to enable students to achieve higher AO4 grades.
  • Regularly marked and reviewed pupils' work, giving clear and focussed feedback for pupils to respond to during DIRT time.
