I worked as part of a highly successful MFL team achieving consistently high GCSE and A level results. The school was recently judged "Outstanding in all areas" by OFSTED and our department was deep dived.

• Prepared and delivered the MFL curriculum in line with the departmental SOW. Taught French to KS3 and KS4 and Spanish to KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Planned engaging and motivating lessons aimed at stretching and challenging pupils.
• Used a variety of resources including online materials, textbooks and mini whiteboards tailored to individual pupil needs whilst adhering to the three pillars of grammar, phonics and vocabulary.
• Created many resources for A level Spanish keeping materials up to date to enable students to achieve higher AO4 grades.
• Regularly marked and reviewed pupils' work, giving clear and focussed feedback for pupils to respond to during DIRT time.
• Kept accurate record of pupils' progress and targets in line with school's assessment and reporting policy.
• Enabled pupils to evaluate and monitor their own progress
• Effectively communicated individual progress to pupils and parents / carers alike.
• Managed classroom behaviour in line with school's policy taking appropriate action when necessary.
• Gained experience pastorally form groups in all key stages. Most recently, responsible for KS5 students and skilled at helping students with their UCAS personal statements as well as writing teacher references.
• Organised and led successful KS3 and KS5 study trips to Spain and France.
• Participated in Year 12 expeditions to Morocco, India and Tanzania as a teacher group leader. Activities included hiking and community projects. Also went on the school ski trip several times.

I marked GCSE French speaking exams and gained invaluable experience in marking as well as AQA assessment administration and procedures.

• Taught secondary school English teachers to help boost their language level.
• Taught groups in the Costa Rican parliament and foreign trade ministry as well as various corporate classes.

• Provided tailored feedback to students and parents, identifying constructive areas for improvement.
• Incorporated content from music, films and literature to motivate and engage students.

I spent four years teaching English principally to adults

• Gave classes in a variety of businesses and government bodies such as INE, Vogue, Marca and TELVA.

I gave classes at a Berlitz language academy following their method to plan and deliver classes both in the school and in a variety of corporate institutions such as San Miguel and Telefónica.

I was an au pair working for a French family; looking after their three daughters aged 2, 14 and 16.
