I have been in my current role for 2 years, working with both liaison and inpatient services. Prior to this the majority of my professional experience has been working with liaison and crisis services within the Trust. Over this time I have developed an excellent knowledge of these services and how they work and have developed administrative systems and processes in order to capture key activity with the additional aim of making systems as simple as possible for clinicans to use in order to support freeing up their time as much as possible for patient care. Through working collaboratively i have established effective and positive working relationships within these areas, as well as across the Trust.
I am currently involved in projects that I am very keen to continue with - Crisis Prevention Workstream, supporting the creation of the new Northern MHCAS as well as current and planned QI projects for both liasion and inpatients.
I am currently undertaking a leadership course that has further aligned my objectives with the Trust's leadership framework. This course has given me inspiration and ideas for further development and improvement both within my team and across the Trust.
In the last 5 years I have led the admin team through a number of challenges, including COVID-19 pandemic, divisional restructure and EPR outage, and more recently merger and a further restructure. I believe that my extensive experience of leading and managing staff, as well as my proven track record of leading on and supporting improvements in data recording systems and working with service leads to improve data quality makes me an ideal candidate for one of these positions.
