Film boom operator

I had the opportunity to work on a short film for 3 days with Film Expo South's Drama Script Winner. I was delighted to work on this set with many professional and knowledgeable individuals, I felt I learn many transferrable skills and gained vital knowledge while being on set. My personal skills and responsibilities included:

  • Worked in varied shooting locations, adapting techniques for best results.

I have recently been working alongside my family members at their cafe in Faversham. I have various responsibilities, such as:

  • clearing tables, serving customers, making dessert orders and coffees and operating the machinery like the dishwasher, coffee machine and tills.

I have been working here on an ad-hoc basis, whilst I look for a role closer to home, and it has helped to further develop my ability to perform under pressure as I have to managed high volume orders during peak hours while maintaining a high quality service. Also this has built on my communication and collaboration skills as I uphold excellent relationships with customers and colleagues.
