Transfer Pricing Finance: (Apr'24 to Present)

• Representing the Centre of Excellence, responsible for Transfer Pricing Calculations and Reporting for over 30 Legal entities within the Barclays Bank Group. This involves understanding the relationships and transactions between various counterparts within the Bank.
• Effectively managing stakeholders across different jurisdictions and cross-functional disciplines to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
• Responsible for presenting various management reports to senior management, ensuring they have the insights needed for informed decision making.

Financial Reporting : (Jul'19 to Mar'24)

• Effectively managed Group Financial Reporting of three legal entities in the APAC region and Legal Entity Reporting for the UK entity, which involved handling the end-to-end reporting for several Financial Statement Line Items like Repos, Settlement Balances, Impairments, Trading Income, and Other Assets and Liabilities in accordance with IFRS requirements.
• Performed reconciliations to ensure accuracy in the flow of balances from the source to the general ledger, investigating anomalies and timely highlighting them to relevant teams as necessary.
• Conducted deep dives to understand the nature of balances in the entity, performed trend analysis, explored business drivers behind movements.
• Presented the results of the above as reports to Senior Management.

Risk Assessment and Control:

• Designed, developed, and implemented adequate control mechanisms and risk management framework by identifying and assessing the current and potential risk areas within the entity.
• Developed structured processes to address and capture risks in areas lacking an adequate framework.

Process Standardization and Efficiency:

• Transformed standalone processes into centralized ones through integration and automation, resulting in time savings for more thorough analysis.
• Developed a single dashboard for management to vet reports for the entire APAC region's quarterly review, replacing the previous method of individual report consolidation and achieving a 60% time savings during critical reporting periods.
• Identified inconsistencies in approaches adopted by different entities within the group for the same processes and standardized them to ensure uniform practices.This led to more accurate reporting, particularly for Profit and Loss items.

• Statutory Audit exposure in companies under Manufacturing, Logistics, Telecommunications and Tourism industries
• Analysis of draft Financial Statements including notes to accounts, ensuring various statutory compliances, conforming adherence to relevant Accounting and Auditing standards
• Scrutiny of various ledgers, age wise Accounts Receivables & Accounts Payables, their reconciliation with bank statements
• Physical verification of Fixed assets, their appropriate classification, depreciation aspects and their relevant CARO 2016 Compliances
• Physical verification of inventory, their CARO 2016 compliance, valuation as per Accounting standard -2
• Conducting audits and evaluating the internal control systems with a view to highlight shortcomings and implementing recommendations made by Internal Auditors
