- During my current time as a Hospitality Supervisor, I've had numerous roles depending on what events I am supervising. My job role is split into 3 parts:
- Football games: I supervise a section of a function room which holds up to 360 people.
- Here, I have a team of 4/5 hospitality staff which I delegate to.
- I am in charge of making sure that food arrives the right tables and at a fast pace.
- I am also in charge of making sure my staff are motivated, happy and serving customers to the best of their ability
- Rugby games: I supervise a smaller room which approximately 100 people sit in
- Here, I am in charge of making sure everybody receives their three course meal
- Again, I have a team of about 8 hospitality staff who I delegate to. Here I look after important director, sponsors and chairpersons.
- Dinners, parties and weddings: I run a food team who serve the customers a three-course meal and tea/coffee.
- I also sometimes do drinks table service if anybody needs help or is struggling to keep up with their orders.
- i have developed, trained and mentored numerous floor staff to be promoted to supervisor positions within 2 years of employment.
