• Learned physiology of patient's with multiple different conditions.
• Took charge in Cardio thoracic ICU for a full week during my ICU training which was a huge challenge
• Was involved in the care of patient's with gun shot wounds and general ICu patient's with a host of medical/ surgical conditions
• I found this course a huge but enjoyable challenge there were only ten staff doing this course and we had lots of support from our clinical teacher.

• Worked on a ratio of one nurse to one patients, providing consistent and effective care.
• Learned all about caring for ICU patient both adults and children
• Learned about ventilators and kidney dialysis and general observations of ill ICU patients
• Learned about deteriorating patients with the support of the senior nursing and medical staff.
• Became a junior ICU nurse.

• Prepared patients for surgery by following strict hygiene and fasting procedures.
• Learned all about general surgery and cared for and supported the patients during their recovery.
• Learned basic nursing care and it's importance.
• Learned care of the dying patient and support of their family.
• Learned so much from the enrolled nurses and auxiliary nurses
