Key Responsibilities:
Responsible of deploying the annual cycle of channel management for Discrete Automation and Motion division Portfolio including the following :
- Defining the local channel strategy based on proper market analysis
- Implementing of the ABB Value Provider Program ensuring: Optimum market coverage via the multichannel structure to fulfill customer needs and buying behavior
- Insure that the channel sales strategy and responsibilities are communicated to and supported by different ABB entities
- Cooperate with the local service, field sales and/or different functions to be able to offer via the third party companies the targeted performance for the pre-sales phase, transaction phase and post-sales phase
- Active marketing of the authorized third party channel network and their offering Providing training for the network of current and future ABB authorized value providers
- Annually setting up with the channels clear sales, performance, investment and sales targets figures
- Quarterly reviewing with each third party company the quality, performance, activities and sales volume
- Co-operation with the other BU’s channel managers in the country to :
Boost the ABB’s multi-product offering
Harmonize the terms and conditions
Harmonize the channel management processes
Harmonize the incentive schemes
Responsible for achieving CP budgets in terms of O/R & revenue.
- Main dedicated contact for the DM channel partners daily channel management issues.
- Provide leadership role via planning process.
- Responsible for executing all sales activities in Business plans & in line with the time boundaries & due dates.
- Recruit, hire, train and develop Sales Channels in local markets.
- Set up the Sales Channel Business Plan based on market coverage and product suitability analysis
- Support channel partners in developing and executing the marketing plan.
- Assist channel partners in developing sales forecasts Perform joint sales calls on selected target opportunities in the local market
- Follow up on defined Sales Channel targets and support local sales force so that targets will be reached
- Build CP pipeline & close deals to be able to accurately report monthly forecast info back to management Quarterly report progress of CP revenue (Crown) to DM channel management In addition to : Pro-Sales responsible person in DM Egypt, proper implementing, following up, and training DM personnel.
