My role in the above job title was looking after all UK customers Distribution and Retail.
Targus followed a strict procedure on process of customers orders. My role was to place the orders on the system, with adhered delivery dates - if not in stock the following up with the customer the dates that they would be delivered by.
Once order placed also arranging transport with our warehouse which was in the Netherlands and communication at all times. When order shipped would contact customer with acknowledgement of delivery date also if a large order make delivery appointment with customers warehouse.
Order had been delivered and any queries would be dealt with the customer service staff which we would then follow up with the our Warehouse or the Transporter. ie DHl, Schenkers Logistics.
Everyday Duties
Looking after a work force of 2 back office staff and 5 Sales Personnel plus 5 Delivery Drivers.
Making sure all customer invoices processed daily
Customer complaint telephone calls dealt with in a reasonable time
Making sure all new cars that were being delivered to customer were allocated to delivery drives.
Dealer Transfer cars administration done for delivery and drivers were prepared - also Taco graphs check on return and logged.
New cars collected by customer if paying by cash checked and passed to cashier
Every week
Drivers clock cards checked and hours listed also send Taco's up to head office
Also audit invoices that have been issued that month.
plus sales personnel commissions calculated weekly.
