Based at Harrogate Grammar school, this role involes me working with the school's catering team, serving hot and cold meals to around 2000 students and staff. I operate the lunch tills in the main school, processing student payment transactions efficiently. I manage connections between student accounts and food purchases to ensure accurate billing.
Through this job I have developed the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work efficiency while handling large volumes of students during peak lunch hours. In additio, I have developed my communication skills further by talking to both senior members of staff confidently and with politeness, as well as learning communicate with the differing school year groups . Through this job I have be polite , smiley and also friendly which creates an postive and welcoming atmosphere into the school canteen .

The role is during school hours thereby requiring me to be well organised and have good time management skills. I have demonstrated the ability to be punctual and reliable.

I volunteer as an assistant coach. The role involves coaching younger athletics from the age of 4 to 11 as part of a wider team. My position involves coaching small groups of younger children, teaching them a range of different events I track and field athletics. I frequently adapt training sessions to meet the needs and interests of the group or an individual to allow them to maintain their engagement, keeping them motivated and interactive as a group. I have also organised team-building activities to enhance unity and communication among the young athletes this is through doing relays and obstacle courses. This volunteering has allowed me to gain more confidence leading a group , it has improved my communication to be able talk to them in an simple way which they would understand the tasks I have set them to do . The volunteering has also taught me how to be much more patient with different people and personalities.

I believe this role demonstrates my ability to work effectively in a team.

I assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food for around 200 people. In this fast paced job I need to be organised and friendly .

I helped facilitate a range of sporting and creative activities to engage groups of children throughout the day. Working in a team, I used motivational communcation to make tasks fun and interesting. Working to a strict timetable I was able to demonstrate good time management skills.

I completed a week work of work experience as aprimary school teacher .This involved assisting with the lesson planning and delivery of a range of subjects with children aged 4-7. I had to use effective communication with children and staff , work as part of the staff team, following clear instructions. I have demonstrated that I was punctual and had a mature attitude.
