During this period in time I worked alongside my family to raise money for a cause which we thought we could contribute to. We thought it was in our duty to provide aid to those who weren't as fortunate as ourselves and who where at that time (and still are going through a lot) where suffering to the hands of political disagreements.

Over the course of a few months in 2022 myself and my family worked closely with our local church and those in our local area to raise enough money to help as many people as we could who where suffering in Ukraine and those immigrants who had no choice but to immigrate to Poland to survive. With major food stores such as Tesco and other charities fighting the same battle, we where able to make a few round trips brining van loads of necessities over to Poland where Ukrainian immigrants where finding shelter in shopping centres and small garages.

During our time over in Poland we managed to cross over to Ukraine where the war was rife and travel to so many different villages and run down sites where people where fighting to survive. With the continued support of our community we made their life a little bit easier whilst we where there. During our stay we managed to acquire a visa for a Ukrainian man who was trying to reach his family in England which he had not been able to see in months.
