· Manage and support the team to ensure all business and departmental deadlines and targets are met.

· Manage the Procurement Strategy process, including the development of the SCF03A and SAP MM.

· Maintain good working relationships with Works Managers, Foremen, site personnel, estimators, and the HSQE department.

· Prepare and issue high-value, high-risk material orders in a timely manner.

· Check quotations to ensure compliance with specifications and commercial requirements.

· Liaise with Works Managers on vendor selection.

· Assist estimators and commercial teams as required.

· Maintain an honest relationship with the supply chain.

· Keep abreast of market trends in relation to plant and materials.

· Work in accordance with and stay updated on current procedures and processes.

· Manage and control the hiring and off-hiring of plant with the Plant Coordinator.

· Complete plant requisitions, obtain agent's authorization, and issue them to the plant depot or supplier.

· Order external plant directly from hire companies on pre-arranged plant department order numbers through the Accessed Cost Database (ACD).

· Ensure suitable arrangements for delivery and collections.

· Notify off-hires with suppliers and ensure plant is prepared for off-hire by the Plant Coordinator.

· Collect plant off-hire tickets and record them through ACD.

· Undertake periodic plant reconciliation and maintain a register of plant.

· Maintain records of plant inspections.

· Support Site Supervision (Foremen) with producing Allocation Sheets for record-keeping purposes.

· Carry out weekly wages/timesheets for both directly employed and labour-only subcontractors (LOSCs).

· Attend weekly Supervisors meetings to ensure their needs are met and site requirements are fulfilled.

· Perform other relevant duties as required from time to time.
