Throughout coronavirus I first started work with manpower working in a warehouse as a parcel sorter. This job taught me many things as I entered the work force for the first time such as keeping my work space safe and clean for the next user and how to safely complete tasks in a clustered work area with moving vehicles. I was employed for 18 months working on and off as I was still in education at the time.
Upon leaving manpower at the start of 2023 I arrived at a new challenge where I became a solar panel installer. I took this job up knowing my end of post would be summertime however the several months I was there I learnt many things on and off the job such as; health and safety, how to construct the foundations so a solar panel can be fitted and also the electrical side of how the panels are connected and 'strung' to one another.
Gaining experience from working in an outstanding primary school and helping to educate children in KS2 gave me a surprsing amount of communicative skills and experience which I still use to this day. My short time at the school helped me to understand what it is like working in a pressured, commited enviroment and gave me an insight into a team work focus learning environment.
