As a person, I am studious, which includes my enthusiasm to succeed at something to my best capabilities. This involves problem-solving skills and the ability to be conscientious since I have done extracurricular chemistry challenges. In addition, I am a good communicator and I have done public speaking multiple times, making me well-suited for tasks involving teamwork. I am willing to learn and develop the skills that I have in areas of chemistry that I have studied and to develop ones that involve more complex chemistry. This goes alongside my desire to learn about new technologies as well.
Throughout my time at Denstone College I have been awarded several Head's Certificates for Attitude to Learning, Head's Certificates of Attainment and Head's Certificates for Effort.
End of Year Presentation Day is a grand day at Denstone which I participated in hosting and presented in 3rd form and received awards in 4th form and 5th form.
I entered two Poetry Competitions for Young Writers and I was successfully selected with both separate entries for publication in the Young Writers Anthology.
I have been chosen to be a Prefect in 6th form which includes several duties which change each week but always on hand to help others.
Throughout my time at Denstone I have attended the Denstone Discussion Dinners which I enjoyed.
The Scholars and Advanced Musician's Concerts are an event that happen throughout the year which I have participated in playing my favourite classical pieces on the piano.
