Summary

I was fortunate to be part of an International Expat community, which broadened my horizons, in both meeting and dealing with a large range of people from around the world. Being fully focussed on working in the Hospitality sector and specifically the Whisky industry, which was a key part of my business degree. During my Degree, I worked for a range of hospitality venues to gain experience. After graduation my employer Festival Village, in Edinburgh gave me a management role. This allowed me to start my career and rapidly gain knowledge of delivery and managing a work force in a high paced environment. I was fortunate to be able to join the leading Whisky distillery company Edrington, at their Flag ship operation in The Macallan distillery, where I am further developing my teamwork skills and knowledge base.

Personal Focus

I have been a both a team member and leader, who although at the very start of my career has worked with high performing teams in competitive work, social and sporting environments. I am a keen and fast learner, with a focus on continuous improvement of both the teams I work with in and myself. I see it a positive aspect of my persona to both review and challenge the status quo, with a driver to improve positively. I seek information across a broad spectrum, which led me to explore the competition within the whisky industry. To broaden my knowledge, I have now completed over 30 distillery tours in both Scotland and the United States.
