YMCA, Volunteer, During my three years of volunteering at the YMCA, I had the rewarding opportunity to work with young people and support children on school residential trips. My role involved organizing activities and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for the participants. I helped facilitate team-building exercises, led educational workshops, and provided mentorship to the children, fostering their personal growth and confidence. This experience not only strengthened my leadership and communication skills and help strengthen my understanding of teamwork. Furthermore, my time at the YMCA I also had the opportunity to work with homeless people, making them food and handing out blankets connecting with them giving them a sense of companionship.
