Course name: Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award
Dates: 2017-2018
During this course I completed 3 months of volunteering at Purton Cricket Club in which I helped to coach and run sessions for the youth section. I also had to complete two 1-night camping trips, in which we had to navigate our own way to the camping sites using map skills we had been taught, which helped to increase my problem solving and individual confidence.
Course name: Level 3 Football Referee Qualification
Date: October 2016
In this role I took a 2-week course in learning how to qualify as a level 3 referee. A key factor in this job was having to communicate with everyone around you and to help them understand why you made certain decisions, which may appear very different on a football pitch, but I believe these could be transferred to customers/co-workers in helping them go understand decisions that I have made.
