  • In this role, I led the marketing efforts for thirty-six summer camps across the UK, identifying strategic advertising locations in towns and cities nationwide.
  • Alongside marketing, I supported the operational delivery of the camps both before and during the season.
  • This included coordinating staff reference checks using Salesforce, managing camp kit replenishment, and handling the transportation of supplies.
  • I regularly drove long-distance routes using a van to deliver equipment to various camp locations across the country, providing me with practical delivery driver experience and strengthening my route planning, time management, and logistical skills.
  • I also played a key role in managing the logistics of camp kit replenishment, requiring strong organisational and communication skills.
  • In 2024, I further expanded my experience by supporting sales for residential trips offered by SuperCamps' sister company, Bushcraft, which gave me first-hand experience communicating directly with customers and assisting with bookings.
  • Throughout this period, I developed strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams.

Accomplishments

Course name: Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award

Dates: 2017-2018

During this course I completed 3 months of volunteering at Purton Cricket Club in which I helped to coach and run sessions for the youth section. I also had to complete two 1-night camping trips, in which we had to navigate our own way to the camping sites using map skills we had been taught, which helped to increase my problem solving and individual confidence.

Course name: Level 3 Football Referee Qualification

Date: October 2016

In this role I took a 2-week course in learning how to qualify as a level 3 referee. A key factor in this job was having to communicate with everyone around you and to help them understand why you made certain decisions, which may appear very different on a football pitch, but I believe these could be transferred to customers/co-workers in helping them go understand decisions that I have made.
