Summary

For the past 15 years I have gained a lot of Electrical knowledge and experience in domestic, residential and some commercial settings. I pride myself on finding and rectifying 95% of domestic faults within an hour on a call which I have been able to provide time and time again.

Over the years I have proven that I am a Experienced Electrician skilled in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. I have a strong knowledge of wiring, troubleshooting, and safety standards, with a proven ability to deliver reliable work on time. Although my commercial background isn't as advanced as my domestic and residential background, I feel that I have enough to prove I can do almost every task and I'm not afraid to ask for help and I pick up new tasks quickly. I have been spending the past 9 months on commercial projects.

I aspire to be a electrical supervisor or project manager before the age of 35 picking up my SSTS and IPAF, I feel this would be the most suited for me as since late 2018 I have been a team leader and I enjoy teaching the new generation of electricians and I have the knowledge to ensure the standard required is delivered by my team.

Projects

  • Foxlease, Hook Lane. Aldingbourne June 2024 This is a development for Oceanview Developments, consisting of 10 timber frame houses with a simple but nice spec which includes Underfloor Wet heating, Solar, downlights throughout and fully fitted kitchen with appliances. I have been the main electrical Contractor on this project and despite the houses being ready last minute with various changes along the way I have always ensured that we kept to the programme set out by the site manager., It has been a project with many delays, gaining the electrical incoming was a major one as the original drawing from UKPN wasn't sufficient but we were recently able to hand over 4/10 of the houses to CML 2025-09-02 despite the meters being fitted 2025-08-28., The last 6 houses are expected to be handed over by End of October, I will likely be done by 2024-10-13 but have been doing it on recent weekends to avoid it interrupting my working week.
  • The Charter, Curo Construction. Gravesend 2024-11-20 The Charter is a large council backed project that was on the brink of destruction before Curo took over from the previous builders Henry Construction., After the construction halted there was a lot of environmental damages that happened along with Vandalism that let the block of around 140 apartments were left in a state of disrepair, since Curo have started they have turned it around massively and are improving standards and safety of operatives on site delivering a higher standard of finish., Whilst there I was doing a fair amount of surveying the apartments and dead testing to compile a list of items to do in each plot. I was doing all immediate reactive works and helping to set bench marks for standards to follow. This included 1st fixing Block E03 (29 apartments) 2nd fixing 15 of them, client alterations and RCP confirmations before moving onto other projects that required some influence. I return when a push is required.
  • The Landings, Hill Construction. Kings Hill 2022-09-28 The Landings comprised of a large building with 75 high spec apartments and various communal areas and amenities, hair salon and kitchen to mention some of them., When I started there the project was almost complete but had some minor finishing issues, this was great to be part of as it involved a lot of problem solving, thinking of your feet to adapt and overcome with some alterations and ensuring the BMS systems were commissioned and functioning correctly., I was there until hand over and it was lovely to welcome the clients., Bridgefield, Taylor Wimpy. Ashford 2020-11-16 I started this project right at the start when the sales offices and sales homes were being 1st fixed. At the time I was the on site supervisor, working alongside various Electricians to keep on track with the programme during the pandemic that was Covid. I had a lot of roles that would include a Friday meeting with all trades to track progress, discuss any problems and solutions we had and raise any health and safety concerns we had. Ensuring operatives knew where to get inducted, what RAMS to sign onto and PPE required for each task. I stayed on top of the materials without having a lot of surplus stock. I was able to deliver the project on time completing any task required to keep all trades moving forward and overcoming any issues along the way.
  • Jemmett Road, Chartway Construction. Ashford 2018-11-02 I started this project when around 12 houses and 9 flats were already 1st and 2nd fixed, the on site supervisor was moving to Australia and it was my first time to step up and follow the same tasks set out at Bridgefield, Taylor Wimpy., When I first arrived we were behind schedule and weren't looking like we would get the next phase but I managed to get the site managers on side and make up for all of the lost time. We managed to get obtain the next phase of houses and complete the project in a timely manor with the pandemic starting when there were around 30 plots left.
