• Led and managed a large team of paralegals handling litigated consumer claims under the Montreal Convention 1999, Regulation (EC) No. 261/2004 and Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2006, together with a wide range of contractual and liability disputes.
• Oversaw claims involving baggage, cancellation, delay, denied boarding, personal injury and Equality Act issues.
• Managed all pre-action correspondence and supervised a network of pre-action agents across multiple global locations.
• Advised internal departments on consumer rights, litigation risk and commercial matters, and drafted related correspondence and guidance.
• Worked closely with senior business stakeholders and external law firms, while introducing new processes and team structures to improve efficiency and reporting on claims trends and volumes.

• During my training contract with easyJet, I completed a secondment with Norton Rose Fulbright in its aviation finance and leasing team, where I worked on a range of non-contentious aviation matters. This provided valuable exposure to the commercial and transactional side of the aviation sector and broadened my experience beyond litigation.

Managed a substantial portfolio of UK consumer litigation and pre-action disputes, advising on passenger claims, regulatory obligations and litigation risk across a range of aviation matters. Worked closely with internal business teams, external lawyers and claims agents to oversee strategy, improve claims handling processes and support the effective resolution of disputes involving flight disruption, baggage, personal injury, denied boarding and disability-related issues.

• Developed a refined specialisation in aviation consumer litigation, handling a variety of small claims litigation matters for a number of high profile airlines.
• Collaborated with other paralegals for successful completion of complex cases.

• Assisted in navigating the civil litigation process at county court and high court levels for airlines under Regulation (EC) No. 261/2004 claims.
• Contributed to weekly progress meetings representing the legal department and discussing trends and claim volumes requiring tactical management.
