Hardworking and reliable professional with physical and mental stamina as well as the willingness and hunger to learn new things to handle various required tasks. I have completed a degree in Accounting at the University of Hull and graduated with a Second Class Honours. I am highly competent, confident, friendly and approachable with a positive attitude. I am equally as good at working as part of a team or individually. I am eager to learn new skills and develop my own and ready to bring my skills and abilities to a new team in long-term position and really start to excel in what I hope to be a long lasting career. I also hold a full drivers licence.
My current job role is a delivery driver for FedEx. Here I have a set location in and around Scunthorpe, making many scheduled deliveries and picking up collections from a wide variety of customers, and businesses. I interact with hundreds of people daily from a wide range of different backgrounds; timekeeping is a must in this role, and being a friendly face of the company, as the sole representative for this area, is essential when interacting with so many, to ensure positive feedback for myself as well as the business.

I previously worked for Clearanswer call centre in the EE inbound upgrades and retentions department. I started here during the lockdown, as there were not many hours available in my previous bar role, and with my university studies being at home in my last year, I was able to take on a new challenge. I had worked in a call centre before for Sky, so I already had some experience with customer service over the phone, as well as face to face. I really excelled here making a lot of sales daily and having one of the best conversion rates on the floor. This allowed me to stand out and created other opportunities. I quickly got involved in training new starters to pass on my knowledge and expertise in sales tactics and product knowledge, and this soon led to me being a floor manager with my own team to care for.
Skills include:
I started working at the highway alongside studying for my degree; it is a job role that I had not previously worked in, but as I am a quick learner with excellent initiative, I was up to speed without much hassle. Working behind a bar, it is of the utmost importance to have a friendly and approachable attitude towards customers, as it allowed me to work, grow, and thrive during my time there. I believe that gaining new skills will help me in the future.

Throughout this period, it was a change from carpentry and joinery, the previous job role that I had trained for through Carillion; regardless, I learned the job very quickly and found myself gaining experience and skills in a similar manufacturing environment, only now I was producing bath tubs, toilets, and shower trays.
