I am a vibrant and motivated GP registrar with integrity and adaptability. I continuously promote teamwork, joy and kindness amongst colleagues, as a positive work environment is quite important to me as it fosters the energy essential to thrive and be an asset to your team and colleagues. I also pride myself on good communication skills and have always been commended by both patients and my colleagues on my warmth and approachability.
I have worked closely with diverse populations throughout my training in Liverpool, and previous jobs in Stoke on Trent, which involved a wide range of health inequalities including language barriers, mental health, poverty and ethnic minority groups. Though challenging, I found this quite rewarding. I have a keen interest in women's health, paediatrics and diabetes and hope to pursue this further as a GP specialist.

I was promoted to a university lecturer in the department of anatomical sciences, during my time at St. George's University. It was a challenging but rewarding experience and involved several duties, some of which are listed below
I facilitated year one (1) medical students full time and engaged in both formal and informal teaching. I did this a for three and half years prior to my promotion to university lecturer. Formal teaching involved weekly leading of groups of 6-8 medical students in multiple settings including communication skills with patients, history taking skills, physical examination skills and techniques in gaining a patient’s comfort and trust.
This involved a one year placement with 3 months each in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
