I am a compassionate, resilient, and motivated worker with a strong academic background in criminology, justice, and psychology, complemented by hands-on experience working in specialist educational and behavioural support settings. I hold a Criminology degree and a Master's in Crime, Justice and Psychology, both of which have deepened my understanding of childhood trauma, adverse experiences, and the complex social and emotional needs of vulnerable young people.
Through my work at Foxfields Academy, a school for pupils with SEMH needs, I have developed strong skills in behaviour management, emotional regulation support, and trauma-informed care. I have also delivered PSHE lessons, supported safeguarding practices, and built trusting relationships with pupils facing significant challenges. This, along with previous 1:1 SEN support experience and years of work in childcare and coaching roles, has fuelled my passion for working with children and families who require additional support.
My academic and practical experiences have given me the empathy, emotional intelligence, and resilience required for a career in family or child support. I am now eager to transition into a pastoral, family liaison, or early intervention role where I can make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and the people around them.
