I’m a reliable and dedicated individual who takes pride in giving my best to every task I take on. I work well in a team environment, but I’m equally confident working independently and using my initiative. I approach challenges with a positive mindset, doing my best to problem-solve on my own, yet knowing when to ask for guidance if needed. I'm punctual, compassionate, and empathetic, I’m someone who genuinely cares about the people I work with and the quality of what I do. I’m especially keen to grow my skills in creative, practical environments where I can be hands-on and keep learning.
Skills & Interests
I enjoy playing the piano and guitar recreationally, and previously had lessons in both at school.
As a former county-level hockey player with Lindum Hockey Club, I played primarily as a forward. I joined the women’s team at the age of 13, competing at both local and county levels. Playing hockey has helped me develop quick decision-making, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
I have recently completed the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA) Safety Award for Teachers (SAT – completed June 2025) to qualify as a poolside safety officer. This enables me to assist with first aid and pool safety for participants at floating sound baths, where I volunteer. I undertook this course independently to support a family friend’s business.
I enjoy rock climbing and bouldering, both indoors and outdoors, and occasionally join Lincoln Mountaineering Club outings with my family.
I completed the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award at school. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete the Silver or Gold awards due to COVID-19 restrictions and limited availability, as well as transitioning from school to college.
I enjoy spending time with friends but also am a keen artist with a particular passion for line drawing and illustration, often spending time on my own working on my own projects.
