Summary

Currently I am a final year MEng (Hons) Civil Engineering undergraduate student at Liverpool John Moores University, predicted to achieve an Upper Second Class Honours (2:1) degree. The course has given me a strong academic foundation in advanced materials, geotechnical engineering, water engineering, transportation, surveying, and structural engineering with hands on practical laboratory, fieldwork, and design project experience. In the third year, I completed a dissertation using TAS Manager and AutoCAD for technical analysis and drawings, with a focus on mitigating the impact of climate change through zero energy methods within UK building construction techniques. During vacation periods I have gained valuable experiences with a marine and general engineering company and have also worked in the hospitality sector. Both have given me experience in safety critical environments, alongside customer focused work in hospitality, demonstrating good teamwork, communication, problem solving, and time-management skills.

I consider myself a team player who is very driven and adaptable in any work environment, and I am looking forward to working as a graduate civil engineer to advance my professional engineering skills in the workplace.
