During my 37 years working for Alexander Dennis, i have been involved with every aspect of building a bus.
The job i have been doing for the past 5 years has been top deck and bottom deck finishing. Fitting cappings around the window areas, fitting ABS parts at the rear seat, and fitting the front screen monitor. As this was work that could be seen, i took great care in making sure all work was pleasing to the eye.
Repaired damaged parts efficiently. Refitting broken windows, replacing of exterior damaged panels.
Developed comprehensive knowledge in coach building by consistently working with a variety of materials and tools.
Worked with engineers to overcome any issues with the fiitting of any parts.
Worked on people movers for international airports for Bombadier, who are now owned by Alstom. The CX100, which is an Aluminium bodied car, and the Innovia, which is a fibreglass bodied car. Gatwick airport have a 2 sets of Innovias, comprising of 3 cars each set.
Always hitting daily productivity targets asked of us from our Supervisor .
I am never late, and i am never off sick.
