Summary
I am a hard working, dedicated 17-year old student with the ability to bring a positive attitude into a place of work. I am currently studying Carpentry and Joinery at Suffolk New College and I extremely enjoy my course due to doing lots of practical, hands-on projects. I have completed 2 projects so far, a folding stool and a Christmas Tree. As part of the course I am required to work 40 hours either paid or unpaid. I am available Tuesdays and Thursdays and the week-end. I am quite happy to work for free to gain experience in the working environment. I consider myself strong and capable and able to take instructions effectively. - I currently ride a moped and am taking driving lessons. - I am very keen on fitness and have been an active member of various gyms for the last 3 years. - I am a keen content creator on YouTube. I have a very good working knowledge of editing and utilising software tools for this purpose. I am also familiar with using google documents, spreadsheets and creating presentations.

- I shadowed daily activities of office staff to gain an understanding of the work and various departments within Suffolk County Council (SCC).
- I supported team meetings by preparing materials, setting up spaces and taking notes.
- I had to create and give a presentation to staff members, peers and teachers from my school about my time spent at SCC. I also prepared and presented my own ideas on how to improve efficiency at SCC and what additional services they could provide.
- I visited the police station and fire service, learnt about emergency equipment and how to utilise it. I have also more recently attended Princes Street fire station to undertake a ‘dangers of fire’ briefing and take part in a mock rescue operation.
