I’m a hardworking individual, who can work well independently or in a group situation. I’m resilient and can adapt to almost any situation.
I am detail-oriented and pick up new skills quickly. These skills are put in to practice every day when I train mixed martial arts. I have trained martial arts for the past 5 years and love every second of it. This shows that when I’m passionate about something I dedicate everything towards it.
in my last job role, I went above and beyond and was involved in speaking with local schools and visitors that came to the company, this shows my confidence and public speaking skills.
I have since been using my skills to give back to beginners training them in martial arts and teaching classes.

There were many areas on the Victrex site and during my training i got to work and gain experience in most of them, teaching me a wide range of skills and understanding.
I also got involved in plenty of extracurricular tasks. such as going into the local college to speak about the company on numerous occasions, talking at inhouse conventions, and meeting teachers and students from local schools.
during my time at victrex I also completed validation books in a few areas to show my competency.

This was really great experience as it was my first taste of working in a large company.
I was studying engineering at the time at college and this work experience period helped me to understand the industry I was training for.
I felt I left after the 20 hour period more experienced and more confident within engineering. I definitely felt it was a great learning experience.
