- Negotiating terms with authors, agents, and co-publishers, both nationally and internationally
- Advising and signing off on copyright pages for all published titles; ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements is maintained
- Issuing rights reversion and termination letters for international co-publishers, thereby keeping records up to date
- Translating contracts and other legal documents between French and English
- Liaising with and resolving queries from internal departments (including Editorial, Rights, Picture Research, Sales and Marketing) and international publishers across Europe, Asia and North America
